MAMARONECK Beach Club WEDDING- WESTCHESTER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
After 20 years as a wedding photographer- (Check it out, these reviews go waaaay back, baby!)- I feel like I’ve seen just about every trend, color scheme, religious tradition and secular wedding aesthetic there is. Each love story is unique, but the traditions and trends are timeless… and repetitive. Can I just say that NONE of that applies to Steve and Nicole’s wedding?! Magical Memories Entertainment brought their A Game in a big way!
There were so much unique touches and extraordinary entertainment options that I *swear,* I did not look at my watch once until the very end of the party. I did check as we were coming to the end, because I had fire spinners and entertainers on my shot list, but they hadn’t made an appearance yet. It turns out they were outside to usher the guests to the after party on the beach.
As much fun as an acrobat bartender, tropical birds, fancy ladies walking around dressed as cake tables and a giant robot are, there is a common thread that ties all love stories and wedding together. All wedding days are full of laughter, beauty and emotion, but this wedding was truly like no other.
The groom and his brother went from cracking up to saying a prayer together and back to cracking up in a heartbeat. Nicole got two "princess moments." The first was a photo of her in the gazebo that she envisioned- done! The second was completely spontaneous as she leaned out of the tower, letting down her long veil. I don't know which I love more, the romantic dip during the first dance or the wedding party in the background cheering at the top of their lungs.
It's hard to wrap your head around one company pulling this all together- performers, DJ services, videography, photography, music, video/photo booths, decor, even basic sound and microphones for the ceremony. I have to hand it to Steven Burchard and his team. Magical Memories Entertainment is, well, magical.
The MAGIC OF MOTHER NATURE
As a photographer, I love good light. I also love cake, but a sunset like this on the beach? *chef's kiss*
