I’m not gonna lie; I just can’t pick a favorite photo to start this entry off so we’re going in chronological order for this one, especially since Vanessa and Angharad had one of the best “first look” moments I’ve ever had the privilege of documenting. There was a slight re-organization in the afternoon, so Vanessa found herself fielding texts and calls from me as Angharad made her way to a viewing platform across the boat pond in Prospect Park instead of the other way around, which was the original plan. I could see Vanessa pacing all the way from the Audubon Society. “Still waiting for Angharad,” I sent in an update. Then, “I see her.” Finally Vanessa just texted me, and I quote, “!!!!!!!
” I feel like there’s no better description for the look on Vanessa’s face as Angharad walks up behind her than “!!!!!!” That was exactly it. They laughed. They kissed. Angharad reached out and caressed Vanessa’s cheek, and they looked at each other over in their wedding finery with this amazing combination of what I can only describe as, like, awe and glee. They were so happy all day long, from the simple but lovely ceremony to the heartfelt, poetic multilingual toasts through romantic first dance followed by a father-daughter tango and a horah, that was quite simply a blast. I wish you both all the happiness in the world, now and (in keeping with your wedding theme) forever. This is your heart’s true happiness, and it’s everything you deserve.
