Penny and Matt’s baby boy is here! Actually, he’s two weeks old today, but we did his session when he was just four days old. There was a slight delay in posting as I was traveling out west in Utah and Arizona this past week, where I photographed a Navajo woman who will turn 100 tomorrow. It’s only now just hitting me how completely wonderful it is to have photographed Shane, who is so very young, right before meeting and photographing Susie, who is not. (Photos of her coming soon.) It’s amazing and inspiring, and I am so very lucky to do this work. Thank you, Pen and Matt, for allowing me and my lighting kit and backdrop stand and giant baby posing beanbag into your apartment, which is so very full in this special time- full of baby things, and gifts, and people, and most of all, your sweet newborn son. He is so very precious. Enjoy every minute.
