On Sunday, Joel and I shot Julianne and Chris’ wedding. You may remember them from their engagement session shot at the beach over the summer. This wedding was great. I had a chance to get to know the bride’s two maids of honor in this past year, so Joel and I felt very much at home and welcome with their friends and family. I have to say, I kind of love this couple’s friends.
Julie and Chris met at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and most of the wedding party members were not only alumni but they also all sang together in an a cappella group in college. They surprised the groom and his mom by singing “In My Life” by the Beatles for their mother/son dance, which was nice. Also? Not for nothing, but the food was AMAZING at this wedding. Julianne dabbles in semi-professional cake-baking, so I’ve included a couple of details of the cake, including their awesome wire sculpture cake topper. Also, two of my favorite shots here include the wedding party with their mustache tattoos, as well as the picture of the bride, groom, best man’s reaction after the maid of honor fired a confetti gun at the end of her toast. Let’s all wish Julie and Chris a very happy honeymoon, and be jealous of them in Hawaii.
Have a wonderful time, guys!
